McGee 3-for-5 to Ignite Cardinals Offense
The St. Louis Cardinals trumped the Pittsburgh Pirates, 13-4, at PNC Park. St. Louis center fielder Willie McGee was terrific. He was 3-5 with 3 doubles, while adding 9 RBI. St. Louis has now won 3 straight, while the Pirates have lost 3 in a row.

With St. Louis leading 2-0 in the top of the first, McGee hit a fastball from John Candelaria for a bases-clearing double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Cardinals ahead, 5-0.

"No complaints from me," said Cardinals manager . "I like what I saw out there."
