Mets Post 6-3 Win Over Miami
|
David Cone, who is tied for 6th in the NL in wins with 4, propelled his team to victory over the Miami Marlins. The final score was 6-3, New York. The Mets, at 21-13, lead by one game in their division.
New York used the hitting of Francisco Lindor to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Mets on top, 6-3. For the game, Lindor had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
