Lindor 4-for-5 to Ignite Mets Offense

The New York Mets bested the Washington Nationals by a score of 9-6, with designated hitter Francisco Lindor getting the main credit. On the day, Lindor went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Mets. The Mets, now 3-0, have hit the ground running this season.
In the bottom of the first, 24-year old first baseman Pete Alonso hit a 3-run home run. The 2nd home run of the season for the New York first baseman put the Mets on top, 3-0.
