Behind a fine performance from Joey Votto, the Cincinnati Reds knocked off the Milwaukee Brewers, 8-3. Votto was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Reds. After losing, Milwaukee is 16-14.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Reds grabbed the lead when Votto hit his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Doug Henry made it 4-3, Cincinnati.
