Angels Fall to .500 After 3-2 Loss to Rangers
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Texas Rangers and the Los Angeles Angels, pitcher Matt Harrison was the difference between victory and defeat. The Texas left-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Rangers win. Harrison picked up the win for Texas, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. The Rangers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 10th win in 29 games.
Texas used the hitting of Josh Hamilton to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rangers on top, 3-1. For the game, Hamilton had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
Texas manager called it "a pretty good win."
