Baltimore Stumbles Again, Falls, 3-2, to Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Pirates reigned over the Baltimore Orioles in damp conditions.
The Baltimore Orioles went down to defeat to Babe Adams and his Pittsburgh teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Pirates. Adams, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Arky Vaughan? The Pittsburgh shortstop had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Pirates on top, 3-2. For the game, Vaughan had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"We found a way to get it done," Vaughan said.
The Orioles fall to 11-16 and continue their rocky start to the 2014 season.
