Twins Pick Up 4-3 Win Over Chicago
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox.
Eddie Cicotte pitched well, but the Chicago White Sox still fell short, losing, 4-3, to the Minnesota Twins at U.S. Cellular Field. Minnesota goes to 1-1.
Cecil Travis had a direct impact on the outcome. Travis contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Minnesota up, 4-3.
In postgame comments to the Minnesota Bulletin, Travis said, "Our goal is to stack wins."
