The Milwaukee Brewers converted a terrific effort from starter Pete Vuckovich into a win over the Chicago Cubs at Miller Park. The Brewers won the game by a final score of 4-2. Chicago drops to 14-10.

In the bottom of the sixth, Ellie Rodriguez delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the Milwaukee catcher hit a run-scoring single, putting the Brewers in front, 4-2.

"Pete's a trooper," said Milwaukee manager . "He always gives it all he's got."
