Behind the hitting of Sammy Sosa, the Chicago Cubs stopped the Milwaukee Brewers, 8-3. Sosa was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Cubs. No one expected much of this team, but the hot start by Chicago might have some re-evaluating their pre-season predictions. This latest win lifts their record to 14-9.
