Riding the 4-hit performance of the 26-year old right fielder Shawn Green, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 4-2. Roy Halladay, the winner, is now 3-1. He struck out 6 and walked 1 over 8 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. Duane Ward collected save number 6.

Green had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Blue Jays went on to win.
