Helton Stars as Rockies Top Giants, 7-5
|
Todd Helton, who is tied for 8th in the NL in hits with 26, knocked in 4 runs to help the Colorado Rockies win, 7-5, over the San Francisco Giants. The Rockies, with only their 6th win in 21 games, could be the worst team in the league.
Colorado took a 7-4 lead on Helton's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Sergio Romo in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Colorado to the win.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Colorado manager .
