Beckett Lays Hammer Down in 4-1 Win
|
The Miami Marlins received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Josh Beckett, allowing them to bump off the Seattle Mariners, 4-1. Miami is now 10-9.
Beckett was in midseason form against the Mariners. He allowed no runs on 3 hits and fanned 10 in his 8.1-inning effort.
"I felt like I had pretty good command of mostly everything," said Beckett.
