Mariners Absorb 4-1 Loss at Marlins Ballpark
Kevin Brown was nothing short of phenomenal for the Miami Marlins. The 31-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Seattle Mariners, 4-1. Bryan Harvey recorded the save, his 4th. The loss has the Mariners at 11-6.

The Marlins had to work out of trouble in the top of the eighth. The score was 4-1, Miami, with one out. Seattle, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Ken Griffey Jr dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he grounded out.
