Cleveland Breaks Through for First Win in Round 2; Now Trails 2-1
Already down in the Round 2, the Cleveland Indians put on their best show, beating the New York Yankees by a final score of 6-4. Bill Dickey was special. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Cleveland now trails New York 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Earl Averill helped out the Cleveland cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-1 with a double.

"We were a little off-kilter to start the series, but we're getting things figured out now," Cleveland manager told reporters. "At least I hope we are."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
