The Cleveland Indians took down the Oakland Athletics by the score of 6-3 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Round 1. The largest share of the credit belongs to Cleveland starter CC Sabathia, who threw 8.1 innings of shutout ball.

Sabathia delivered a quality start for Cleveland. The 6-foot-7 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings of work.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Cleveland manager told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
