Astros Rally to Win
|
Jose Altuve knocked in 3 runs to help Houston beat New York, 4-3. Altuve produced 2 singles and 1 home run. Houston reliever Mike Scott picked up the win to move to 3-5. Tug McGraw suffered the loss. Larry Andersen got credit for the save for Houston. It was his 37th of the year.
Altuve had a timely hit for Houston in the top of the eighth. With Houston trailing 3-1, he turned a first pitch curveball into a 3-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Houston.
Altuve told a Houston Chronicle reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
The win makes Houston 84-78.
