Despite a pedestrian performance by starting pitcher Zack Wheeler, the Philadelphia Phillies still won the game, 7-6, over the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. Wheeler picked up the win for Philadelphia, going 6 innings. He gave up 5 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0. With the win, Philadelphia elevates its record to 11-6.

Philadelphia right fielder Richie Ashburn contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Phillies ahead, 7-2.
