Late Magic Gets Milwaukee 7-5 Win
The performance of Ryan J Braun proved critical in helping Milwaukee beat Cincinnati, 7-5. The Brewers designated hitter went 3-4 with 3 singles. Milwaukee reliever Paul Mirabella picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Noodles Hahn was tagged with the loss. Rollie Fingers stitched up the save, his 37th.

Corey Hart provided a timely hit. The Milwaukee pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Brewers on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"It was a solid team effort," said Braun after the game.

The victory gives Milwaukee a record of 90-69.
