Phillies Lose 3-2 Decision to Miami
|
The Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
In a tight contest between the Miami Marlins and the Philadelphia Phillies, Sandy Alcantara was the determining factor. The Miami right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. Josh Johnson recorded the save, making him 5 for 8.
Making an impact for the home team was Marcell Ozuna. In the bottom of the sixth, the 26-year old left fielder had a run-scoring ground out. That made the score 3-0, Marlins.
Alcantara called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
The setback makes Philadelphia 86-72.
