Faber Fashions Shutout Against Detroit
The Detroit Tigers met their match today in Chicago hurler Red Faber. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout.

"He just worked us over," Detroit skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."

In the 10-0 victory, Faber whiffed 6 and gave up 1 walk.
