Brewers Get Past St. Louis, 2-1
Milwaukee registered a win at Busch Stadium by beating the St. Louis Cardinals, 2-1. Pitcher Pete Vuckovich was one reason why the Brewers triumphed. Milwaukee raised its record to 89-64 with the win.

Christian Yelich cracked a home run off Dizzy Dean in the top of the eighth. His solo blast put the Brewers on top, 2-1. In all, Yelich had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Yelich said.
