Astros Rally to Tally 4-3 Win
|
The Astros grabbed a win, 4-3, at Minute Maid Park, overcoming a fine effort from Cleveland pitcher Bob Feller. Feller went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Larry Andersen, now 6-6, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Houston now owns a record of 79-74.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Houston. That's when Kyle Tucker hit a run-scoring double off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Rafael Betancourt to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
Tucker told a Houston Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
