Late Rally Gets 5-3 Win for Marlins
Francisco Lindor did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the New York Mets from being beaten, 5-3, to the Miami Marlins at Citi Field. Lindor slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The 4th-place Marlins improved to 71-81.

Miami used the timely hitting of J.T. Realmuto to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Marlins on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"No disrespect to the other team," said Miami manager . "But it's nice to get an easy win."
