Astros Sneak Past Angels, 5-4

The Houston Astros dealt the Los Angeles Angels a 5-4 loss in 11 innings at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Alex Bregman was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Reliever Larry Andersen picked up the win. His record improves to 5-6. Francisco Rodriguez took the loss. Billy Wagner wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.
Bregman had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a full count fastball from Francisco Rodriguez, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Astros a 5-4 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Bregman.
After the game, Houston manager applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
Houston occupies third place in the American League Western Division at 76-71.
