Brewers Bats Go Cold Against Cardinals
St. Louis Cardinals starter Bob Gibson turned in a top-notch performance against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The result was a win for the Cardinals, 3-0. Al Hrabosky earned the save for St. Louis, his 26th. The Cardinals win now puts them at 70-71.

Gibson was the winner. He's now 15-9, after putting the Milwaukee offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while racking up 5 Ks.
