Orioles Send Cincinnati Home with 10-4 Loss
Behind a solid performance from first baseman Eddie Murray, the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 10-4. Murray was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Orioles. Dave McNally was the winner. He's now 8-11. The loser was Johnny Cueto. Baltimore goes to 59-80, Cincinnati to 67-72.

Baltimore got a big at-bat from Little Rock, Arkansas native Brooks Robinson, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run double. It was his 17th double of the season and put the Orioles ahead, 3-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Murray said.
