Red-Hot Sutton Cools Off Washington
Don Sutton was in a mood to talk following the Los Angeles Dodgers contest against the Washington Nationals, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Nationals, 5-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Sutton said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Washington on a 2-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 3 strikeouts.

In 29 starts this season, Sutton has notched a 12-11 record and a 3.52 ERA.
