With 6-3 Win, Braves Improve to 77-63
Atlanta first baseman Freddie Freeman contributed significantly to his team's 6-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Freeman went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Braves. Craig Kimbrel recorded his 28th save for Atlanta. The 'W' lifts Atlanta's record to 77-63.

Freeman had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-0 fastball from Chris Short, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Braves a 5-3 lead. It was the 17th home run of the year for Freeman.

Freeman told a Atlanta Chronicle reporter that he was "very pleased" with the win.
