Baltimore Sends Tampa Bay Packing with 8-2 Loss
The home crowd had a good time watching the Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles get after it.

Baltimore Orioles starter Dave McNally hurled his team past the Tampa Bay Rays, 8-2. Baltimore, now 9-5, has played well in the early going.

In the bottom of the fifth, Eddie Murray delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Baltimore first baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Orioles in front, 8-2.

Baltimore manager commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
