Athletics Lose Contest, 6-4
|
Kyle Tucker made an impact in the 6-4 Houston win over Oakland. Tucker, who is tied for 9th in the AL with a .519 slugging percentage, went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Picking up his 31st save was 36-year old right-handed pitcher Larry Andersen. The Houston win streak is now 4 games.
In the bottom of the third, Tucker had a grand slam home run for Houston. It was his 22nd home run of the season and put the Astros on top, 5-2.
"Kyle is still learning," said Astros manager . "The sky's the limit for him."
