|
The San Francisco Giants picked up a win at Nationals Park, taking down the Washington Nationals, 6-4. Starting pitcher Carl Hubbell was a big reason why. Brian Wilson collected his 7th save. The Giants upped their record to 68-60.
Mel Ott helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Giants.
"Good win for us," said Hubbell. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
