Minnesota Twins starter Bert Blyleven turned in a top-notch performance against the Cleveland Indians at Target Field. The result was a win for the Twins, 10-1. The last-place Twins improved to 54-72.

Blyleven, the starting pitcher for Minnesota, like a boss, imposed his will. The right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the AL in innings pitched with 182.0, racked up 12 Ks, while allowing just 3 hits. Opposing hitters had trouble making good contact.
