The Cleveland Indians picked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Minnesota Twins, 4-2, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher CC Sabathia played a key role in the conquest. The win belonged to Addie Joss in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Joe Nathan took the loss for Minnesota. Rafael Betancourt collected save number 28.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 28-year old center fielder Larry Doby. Doby had a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Indians ahead, 4-2. For the game, Doby had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
