Seitzer Earns Praise as Royals Topple Rockies, 7-5
A 6-RBI performance from the 25-year old third baseman Kevin Seitzer helped the Kansas City Royals beat the Colorado Rockies, 7-5. Kansas City, at 65-61, sits in second place in the American League Central Division.

Seitzer had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 2-1 sinker from Aaron Cook, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Royals a 6-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Seitzer.

"It never gets old," said Seitzer. "Winning, that is."
