Lindstrom Powers Giants Offense
The Philadelphia Phillies and San Francisco Giants left the fans buzzing.

The San Francisco Giants stopped the Philadelphia Phillies, 8-7, behind an impressive performance from Freddie Lindstrom. The 24-year old third baseman made life miserable for Philadelphia pitching. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. With the win, the Giants hiked their record to 66-58.

Lindstrom broke a deadlock in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he grounded out, driving in 1 run, putting San Francisco up, 7-6.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Giants manager .
