Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Houston Astros were eager to watch Gerrit Cole square off against Ron Guidry of the visiting New York Yankees. In the end, the Yankees won the game, 6-2, with Aaron Judge leading the way.

Early in the game, Judge had a 3-run home run for New York. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Yankees on top, 3-0.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Judge.
