Mariners Stick Blue Jays with 6-3 Loss
Seattle beat Toronto on the strength of starting pitcher Felix Hernandez's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. The Mariners saw their win-loss record go to 67-51. At the same time, the Blue Jays fell to 67-53.

The Mariners got a big hit from third baseman Kyle Seager. Facing Toronto pitcher Doyle Alexander in the bottom of the fifth, Seager pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 26th double of the season put the Mariners ahead, 3-0.

"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said Seager.
