Cubs Beaten, 5-4, by Milwaukee
|
Milwaukee Brewers starter Teddy Higuera pitched well against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, leading his team to a win, 5-4. The Brewers sit in second place in the National League Central Division with a record of 66-53.
It could have been a different outcome for Milwaukee, had it not been for Christian Yelich, the 27-year old left fielder . Yelich contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Milwaukee up, 1-0.
"Feels good to get the job done," Yelich said after the game.
