Lefty Tanana Leads Los Angeles to 2-1 Win
The Los Angeles Angels eked out a 2-1 win versus the New York Mets at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Nobody did more than pitcher Frank Tanana. He was terrific. Troy Percival zipped up his 3rd save. The Mets drop to 5-6 and continue their mediocre start to the 2014 season.

Tanana, the winner, is now 1-1. In 8 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while collecting 5 Ks. He essentially shut down the New York offense.

"For the most part, I felt like I did a pretty good job with executing the pitches I was throwing," said Tanana.
