Tampa Bay turned a good effort from starter David Price into a win over the Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field. The Rays won the game, 4-1. Grant Balfour earned his 19th save, after closing out the game. Tampa Bay is now 47-57.

Kevin Kiermaier aided the Tampa Bay cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with a double and a walk.

Price told a Tampa Bay Daily reporter that he was "very pleased" with the win.
