Brewers Earn Late 3-2 Win
Milwaukee turned a good effort from starting pitcher Mike Caldwell into a win over the New York Mets at Miller Park. The final score was 3-2 in 10 innings. Rollie Fingers picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 7-0. John Franco suffered the loss. New York is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

The Brewers got a clutch hit from left fielder Christian Yelich. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Brewers.

"It's a good feeling when you fight so hard and win," said Brewers manager .
