The Minnesota Twins beat the Tampa Bay Rays by a score of 4-2. Minnesota designated hitter Chuck Knoblauch deserved the lion's share of the credit. Knoblauch went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Twins. Dave Boswell claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.2 innings.
