Lynn Homers Twice in 4-3 Angels Win
Los Angeles beat Seattle at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to center fielder Fred Lynn. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Angels improved their record to 37-61 with the win over Seattle.

Lynn contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Los Angeles in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Lynn took a curveball from Felix Hernandez and stroked the home run to left. His 11th home run of the season allowed the Angels to leap in front, 4-2.

Lynn called it "a solid win."
