In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

Dave Parker had an impact in the 7-5 Pittsburgh win over Cincinnati. The 27-year old left fielder went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Pittsburgh is now 53-42, Cincinnati 45-50.

Parker had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 sinker from Tom Hume, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Pirates a 7-4 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Parker.

"There's losing your stroke and finding your stroke," said Parker. "I guess I've found mine."
