The Miami Marlins and New York Mets riveted fans at Citi Field.

The New York Mets picked up a win at Citi Field, dropping the Miami Marlins, 4-3. Craig Swan was the difference-maker. Skip Lockwood wrapped it up, recording his 25th save.

In the bottom of the second, 28-year old catcher Mike Piazza hit a 2-run home run. The 12th home run of the season for the New York catcher put the Mets on top, 2-1.

"It's a mindset," said Swan. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

The first-place Mets lifted their record to 54-41.
