Lenny Dykstra knocked in 4 runs to help New York beat Miami, 7-3. The Santa Ana, California native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Earning his 24th save for New York was Skip Lockwood. The win gives New York a season record of 53-41.

New York took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Francisco Lindor hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Mets.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Lindor. "It sure beats the alternative."
