Phillies Lose at Home, 3-2
|
Starting pitcher Teddy Higuera gave the Milwaukee Brewers a rock-solid effort. The Los Mochis, Mexico native helped his team defeat the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-2, at Citizens Bank Park. The save went to Rollie Fingers, his 4th this season. The win puts Milwaukee at 5-3.
Christian Yelich had a direct impact on the outcome. Yelich contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Milwaukee up, 3-0.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Higuera.
