Oliva Earns Praise as Twins Topple Rangers, 9-2
Benefiting from Tony Oliva's productive game, the Minnesota Twins downed the Texas Rangers, 9-2. Oliva went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Twins. Minnesota, at 32-48, holds down last place in the American League Central Division.
