Cincinnati Absorbs 5-2 Loss to San Francisco
|
San Francisco got a strong outing from Carl Hubbell as the Giants defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 5-2, at AT&T Park. San Francisco has won 5 consecutive games.
San Francisco catcher Buster Posey helped the Giants go up, 4-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Posey hit a 2-run single off Cincinnati pitcher Johnny Vander Meer.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Giants manager , "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
