Behind the bravura of left fielder Dave Parker, the Pittsburgh Pirates topped the New York Mets by the score of 10-4. Parker went 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs for the Pirates. Pittsburgh is third in the National League Central Division with a record of 43-36.
